I can never say it enough: Today’s youth are powerful. They have a voice, and we need to listen to them. Students are passionate and driven. They thirst for knowledge, and they like to help others in need – especially when they feel equipped to do so.
If you have passion for life, you can do something! You can be involved! You can use your heart and your hands to be a catalyst in our society. If you have a passion for life from the time of conception to natural death, join Anglicans For Life® in the months of April-June for the World’s Largest Baby Shower. This nationwide event allows us to rally around women facing unplanned, crisis, and new pregnancies in an effort to support these new moms and their babies by providing them with supplies and funds for motherhood.
Anglicans For Life invites you and your church to participate in the third annual, “World’s Largest Baby Shower.” After the incredible success of the 2023 and 2024 Baby Shower, we’ve decided to make the shower a tradition! Collect items, and then donate them to a pregnancy center or a local mom.

This year we want to specifically invite youth groups to participate by using your head, heart, or hands. We invite you to pray and earnestly, and ask the Lord what He is calling you to.
In our current culture, it’s more important than ever to pass along pro-life values to the next generation. So, how can you encourage your kids or the kids in your youth group to take a stand and be a part of the pro-life generation? The first step is to educate. At Abundant Life: You Were Made for More and Anglicans for Life, we have countless resources to help you do this, from our full curriculum with a variety of subjects, to blogs and teachings that are able to be focused on one specific subject that your group is interested in.
Finding ways to support your local PRC is the next step in powering up your kids’ pro-life perspectives. This is what it looks like to foster the heart in our kids’ pro-life beliefs. Although most PRCs aren’t formally tied to a particular church, the bulk of their support – including volunteers and donors – comes from the faith community. That’s how PRCs can offer women so many services for free or at a minimal cost.
The biggest need for any pregnancy resource center is for their community to get involved. I challenge you to pray, seek the Lord, and use your hands with whatever gifts God has given you. To date, pregnancy resource centers have received virtually no government funding. Unlike abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood, PRCs are completely dependent on donor support.
You could donate needed items, including baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, clothing, etc. You could serve as a volunteer mentor to a young woman. Additionally, you could come to the pregnancy center and pray for the women who come in each day. Help could mean encouraging the staff of the center, bringing them lunch, or writing kind notes. Maybe it involves inviting a pregnancy-center leader to speak at your church. It may even mean sweeping the floor.
Last year, we had a youth group and church in Idaho participate in the baby shower.
Here is an excerpt from our social media specialist, Sydney Alleyne, who wrote the feature:
“As a result of Christ the Redeemer’s youth participating in the World’s Largest Baby Shower last year, many of the children like Jaebets, a 15-year-old, were able to recognize the transformative power of support in steering individuals away from the choice of abortion. Meanwhile, 10-year-old Jubal’s acknowledged that life is unpredictable and it’s a reminder to demonstrate compassion and understanding.
The World’s Largest Baby Shower is not just an event; it’s a movement—a call to action for individuals and churches to unite in support of life. By participating in this initiative, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of mothers and babies in need. Join us as we celebrate life and extend a helping hand to those in need—one baby shower at a time.”
Your family, youth group, or church can make a world of difference! If you and your group participate this year, we would love to feature YOU! Send us your stories, life-changing testimony, and how using your head, heart, or hands to support life has changed your group for the better. We have seen profound insights come from participating in initiatives like the Baby Shower, and would love your group to be a part of that life-change.
